Download "The Palestinians' Holocaust: American Perspectives" Book
Assalaamu Alaikum (Greetings of Peace):
The Palestinians' Holocaust: American Perspectives is perhaps the most important book that we've produced to date. It contains a myriad of voices which collectively cry out against the crimes against humanity being commintted in that tortured part of the world sometimes referred to (ironically) as "the land of the prophets." The open genocide taking place in Gaza at present - one of the largest open air prisons in the world - has compelled us to make this information widely available to as many people as possible, as a matter of urgency. If this ends up hurting the bottom [financial] line of a small grassroots, human-rights organization, it would be a small price to pay for helping to educate (and hopefully activate) our neighbors in this global village called earth!
Rachel Corrie, a 23 year old American peace activist, was killed in broad daylight in the Rafah refugee camp on March 16, 2003, while attempting to nonviolently prevent the destruction of a Palestinian home. While her death resulted from the callous disregard of an Israeli soldier, operating an American made bulldozer, Israeli investigators concluded that Rachel Corrie was responsible for her own death.
The Palestinians' Holocaust: American Perspectives
Features a diverse array of voices (many of them Jewish), whose individual and collective observations underscore why the plight of the Palestinian people must be viewed as a genocide and present day holocaust! Our hope is that this book - combined with similar eye-opening publications that have been written over the past few years - will help to advance the type of open discussion and debate that is long overdue in America around this highly contentious issue.
[Founding Father] President George Washington
“A passionate attachment of one nation for another produces a variety of evils… It gives to ambitious, corrupted, or deluded citizens (who devote themselves to the favorite nation) the facility to betray or sacrifice the interest of their own country without odium, sometimes even with popularity.”
President Jimmy Carter
"No Israeli has died since August 2004 because of a so-called terrorist attack from Hamas. Almost all of the casualties in recent months have been inside Gaza, when Israel invaded Gaza again… The key obstacle to peace in the Middle East is Israel’s occupation of land that belongs to other people." – President Jimmy Carter
Archbishop [Emeritus] Desmond Tutu
"People are scared in this country [America] to say wrong is wrong, because the Jewish lobby is powerful. Well so what! For goodness sake, this is God’s world! We live in a moral universe. The apartheid government was very powerful, but today it no longer exists. Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Pinochet, Milosevic and Idi Amin were all powerful, but in the end they bit the dust… Injustice and oppression will never prevail. Those who are powerful have to remember the litmus test that God gives to the powerful: What is your treatment of the poor, the hungry, the voiceless? And on the basis of that, God passes judgment." – Archbishop [Emeritus] Desmond Tutu
Rabbi Aharon Cohen
"In the thirties when Nazi policy was to expel the Jews from Germany, it is well documented how the Zionists cooperated by working together – yes together – with the Nazi authorities to evacuate 'suitable' Jews, i.e. young healthy pioneer material, from Germany to Palestine." - Rabbi Aharon Cohen
